Yes, I am indeed levitating. Outfit is Chloe (links here), sadly I had to give it back.

My sister and I were joking yesterday that Fashion Week this year feels like the same brands showing the same things in the same venues. The same Rick Owens at the Palais Galliera - are we stuck in a loop? I admire the passion and effort, I just don’t feel like I need to participate. And yes, I’m also guilty of wearing the uniform: lace tops draped over pleated pants, leather jacket. I popped by a showroom yesterday and three of us had the exact same shoes on. The RealReal is one of the few places these days where my taste and my budget meet for a kiss, but also where I get to break through the sea of sameness in Instagram fashion.

Wore this all week. i have not taken off this Nour Hammour jacket, I love it so much.

By now, if you’ve been reading this newsletter, you know there are three things I can’t resist:

• Hunting for treasures

• Bedazzled garments

• Negative space!

I got these 2 silver plated candleholders at an auction for 200 euros, they need a couple hours of polishing, which I can’t wait for, and they’ll be the star of my dining table in New York. Thank you to my crush for making this errand a fun bike ride!

The daughter of hoarders (‘collectors’), I grew up, moved out of the house and made my own rule: three things out, one thing in. It keeps me honest. Every month or so, someone from The RealReal comes to pick up a bag of clothes. That bag becomes cash or, if I’m saving for something, credit with a 5% bonus. And so the virtuous cycle of secondhand shopping continues. I almost never regret what leaves the house.

Recently, I parted ways with my Row Half Moon bag. I wore it a lot, but the truth is I carry my beloved suede tote for my computer most days, and my Savette pairs better with it. Some of my favorite recent buys:

My favorite pants ever are these $31 Miu Miu… I hate tight pants and buy all my best, already worn-in slacks on TRR. They go for very little - Chloe and Stella are particularly good (check these and those out!). Independent brands like Maria McManus are fav searches for me. The Dries top was a lucky score :)

This October, The RealReal is running their most generous consignment promo yet: up to $700 when you do a haul. I did mine, and let’s just say… magic happens when you pop an edible and type “crochet” into that search bar.

Tom Ford anorak and leather trimmed skirt ($395, $145 - Tom Ford on TRR deserves a dedicated newsletter!), stone bracelet ($145), tie dye sweater ($165) and sequin baguette ($3400, but it will go down).
